Anna Chancellor erhielt ihre Ausbildung an der 'London Academy of Dramatic Arts und Musical'. Sie ist eine Nachfahrin von Premierminister H.H. Asquith und Jane Austen.
Ihre bekannteste Rolle ist sicher die von 'Duckface' in 'Vier Hochzeiten und ein Todesfall'. Freunde des englischen TV kennen sie jedoch auch aus Spooks und Gastrollen in Marple, Poirot etc.
