Colin Firth
geboren 1960 in Grayshott, England
Colin Firth besuchte das 'Drama Centre' in Chalk Farm, London. Gleich im Anschluß erhielt er seine erste Rolle in dem Theaterstück 'Another Country', das im Folgejahr mit ihm und Rupert Everett verfilmt wurde. Nach einigen Jahren Arbeit in verschiedenen Theater- und TV-Stücken wurde er für die BBC-Verfilmung 'Pride and Prejudice' gecastet, die ein Megaerfolg wurde. Spätestens nach dem Erfolg der Bridget-Jones-Filme ist er einer der bekanntesten englischen Schauspieler.
