Rosamund Pike spielte bereits als Kind Theater und auch während ihres Englisch-Studiums in Oxford trat sie in verschiedenen Theaterrollen auf. Während einer 'Romeo und Julia'-Aufführung am 'National Youth Theatre' wurde sie von einem Agenten entdeckt. International bekannt wurde sie durch den Bond-Film 'Die another Day'.
