Hammer Horrorfilme

Die britische Produktionsfirma 'Hammer Films' wurde durch Horrorfilme bekannt, die in den 1950er bis 1970er Jahren entstanden.

Neben 'The Quatermass Experiment' wurden v.a. die Dracula-, Frankenstein- und Mummy-Filme sowie die Karnstein-Trilogie berühmt.

Dracula, The Brides of Dracula, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Dracula has risen from the Grave, Taste the Blood of Dracula, Scars of Dracula, Dracula A.D. 1972, The satanic Rites of Dracula, T The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires.

The Mummy, The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, The Mummy's Shroud, Blood from the Mummy's Tomb.

The Curse of Frankenstein, The Revenge of Frankenstein, The Evil of Frankenstein, Frankenstein created Woman, Frankenstein must be destroyed, The Horror of Frankenstein, Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.

The Vampire Lovers, Lust for a Vampire, Twins of Evil.

2010 wurde das Label wiederbelebt. Es entstanden seitdem die folgenden Horrorfilme: 'Let me in' (2010), 'The Resident' (2011), 'Wake Wood' (2011), The Woman in Black mit Daniel Radcliffe (Die Frau in Schwarz, 2012) und 'The quiet Ones' (2014).
