'It's a long Way to Tipperary' ist ein britisches Lied aus dem Jahr 1912, das speziell für die Music Hall geschrieben wurde.
Das Lied stammt von Jack Judge und Henry James Williams, die zusammen insgesamt 32 Music Hall Songs verfassten.
Es war bei Soldaten im Ersten Weltkrieg sehr populär und zeigt ihre Sehnsucht nach ihrer Heimat.
1914 wurde es von John McCormack eingespielt und wurde weltbekannt.
