Hugh Laurie

geboren 1959 in Oxford (Oxfordshire), England

Hugh Laurie studierte in Cambridge und trat dort der Theatergruppe 'Cambridge Footlights' bei. 1980 lernte er Stephen Fry kennen, mit dem er später u.a. 'A bit of Fry and Laurie' drehte. Er wurde durch die 'Blackadder'-Filme bekannt. Seit 2004 spielt er in der amerikanischer Arzt-Serie 'House'.
